Who
A financial institution with more than 3 million members.
Starting point
A core system about 30 years old. Internally, the new loan products were estimated at about two years and a far larger budget.
What they did
Ran Cowally alongside the existing core: customer apps, back office and the new loan products, connected to the system that keeps the existing accounts. The Cowally core was then put in place beside it.
Result
7 new loan products live in about 4 months, at roughly a tenth of the expected cost.
What comes next
A full move to the Cowally core, product by product.
